Either that or there was a terrorist attack on the local nuclear reactor, and Edgar wasn't able to crack the code in time, so everyone's been evacuated
Or the bird flu is finally taking hold and keeping everyone at home sick. The government may be surpressing the media to keep everyone from panicing.
