Kidney Shaped

One of the nice things about working for a company with the mental illness of hoarding, is that I was able to find this strange table in an empty office that is perfect for my new coffee maker.

It's on wheels in case there is a fire and you need to make a quick escape.

your lucky that your company lets you have a personal coffee maker. In an effort to be more "green" and save money on their electric bill, my former company banned all personal coffee makers and lava lamps. Yes, you read that right - lava lamps.

in RPI's biotech building we have study lounges with chairs and tables that go from "regular" to "bar height" like that for no explained reasoning

yeah, i was surprised that my boss didn't tell me to get rid of it to. especially after the first time i fired up the grinder.

lava lamps are a fire hazard. i can see how thye would get banned, but why somebody would actually want a lava lamp in their office is beyond me.

sounds like they had extra money in their lounge budget, or they couldn't decide on regular or bar height so they got both.

that was the funny part. I cannot think of a single person that had a lava lamp on their desk.

hahaha. gotcha.

also, how much electricity does a coffee maker use? it can't be much.
