Bit Chilly

Snow flurries on my bike ride this afternoon. I ought to start wearing pants, but gloves at least would be an improvement.

I was riding around in a park today, and there were a lot of middle aged chubby men walking around the woods. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I felt like I was intruding on something.

Pants are not your friend when riding a bike. If you choose to wear pants, you will have to decide between wearing normal pants and stuffing the bottoms into your socks like a doofus so they don't get caught in the chain ring. - OR - get yourself a pair of those fancy long-legged biking pants, which are comfortable and functional, but probably not what you want to be wearing while riding your bike through the woods with the creepy dudes...

i had that same thought this morning. if i wear pants then they'll get caught in the chain and i wouldn't be caught dead wearing those other kinds of pants.

it doesn't get much colder than this here, and my legs getting cold weren't the problem. just my face and only when i was riding top speed on pavement where theres no wind protection. in the woods i'm not cold at all.

i'll just stick with shorts.
