If you needed to fix a woman's PC would you tell her that you have to go to the bathroom first, then come back a full 15 minutes later with your shirt freshly tucked in and your pants up hiked up to your belly button?
Or
Would you simply say "I'll be back in a few minutes"?
Or
Would you fix the PC first and take care of your bidness later?

If they were anything like the IT professionals that I have dealt with - they would fake-check their blackberry, say an emergency just came up and disappear for 3 hours. Then while you are in the bathroom (after having given up waiting for them to come back) they will stop by, find that you are not there and leave you a voicemail saying they stopped by, but since you aren't there waiting for them, they assume your problem is fixed and they are going home for the day.
the point i was trying to make is, if i was going to take a dump i would make it less obvious, especially to someone of the opposite sex.
yes - I agree with your original point. Just couldn't resist the opportunity to make fun of IT guys...
