Michael Caine looks like a teenager in this film. In reality, he was about 50.

This movie could have gotten a higher grade from me, but the whole premise bugged me. The idea that a few men, or one stuck up officer, would sacrifice their lives against overwhelming odds for nothing worthwhile when they had every opportunity to retreat is asinine to me. It's not like they were fighting for their freedom or some other oppressed groups freedom.

Anyway, other than that, and I suppose it isn't fair to judge the film by the history it is representing, its a pretty good movie. And its always interesting to listen to people chant unintelligbly and/or speak with a British accent.
6.5 out of 10 (Pretty good)
