Zero Means Bad

I don't care how many millions of dollars Coke spends on advertising or how much chemically created vanilla flavor they add in an effort to convince me that Coke Zero tastes the same as regular Coke, I will not nor will I ever think that Coke Zero tastes the same. Its not going to happen because it just isn't true. It tastes like Diet Coke plain and simple. So why don't the corporate zipperheads at Coke save themselves some money, fast forward to the point where they eliminate Diet Coke from their soft drink lineup and get on with replacing it with the Zero.

But why should they bother? If it tastes the same, why not just keep Diet Coke?

Personally, I don't think it tastes like Diet Coke either. I would just prefer the diet.

i think the industry is shying away from calling stuff "diet" because of the supposed negative connotation.

i'm sure too many people would complain if they got rid of diet coke. "i just drank it for the chemically aftertaste!" would be all over the place.
